@ the Zoo

{ready to go!}

Doesn't he just look older? He was excited to wear his new sunglasses and hat that he got for Easter.

{meerkats}

{sea lions}

Friends J, A and S watching the show with G and B.

I love the excitement on his face!

{cheetahs}

{elephants}

Friends A and J along with G and B checking to see if any elephants were getting a bath.

love his hands :)

{giraffes}

{lunch}

E needed to eat so we all stopped for lunch.
We had carrots, cheese, crackers, bananas and cookies.

Kind of a funny picture of G. She wasn't feeling the greatest because of a cold. She rode most of the day in P family's stroller. Thank you K!

{just E}

E right after eating. She was such a trooper! Other than we we stopped for lunch, she spent the whole time in the stroller.

A sweet picture of E and Daddy. It might be my new favorite :)

{tigers}

{okapi}

{friends}

We are so happy that our kids are such good friends with the P family kids.
It is so fun to see them interact, help each other, share snacks without being asked and just be cute holding hands :)

Friend J was told by his mom that if he wanted to go ahead he had to have a buddy. He asked G to be his buddy. I am pretty sure his mom meant an older buddy and not a younger buddy, but it was still cute :)

{hyenas}

{bald eagle}

Our little baby bird. I tried to get all 3 in the nest for the picture but E was the only one who would cooperate :)

{prairie dogs}

There is a picture of B and Mom as a prairie dog; I just don't have it yet.

{the petting zoo
}

This wasn't our last stop at the zoo but where my camera ran out of battery. We also went to see the zebras and monkeys before going home. This might have been B's favorite part though :) He stayed long after the other 4 kids were done. He would go around to every goat and say "Hi, little goat. How are you doing?" It was really cute. He was very gentle with them and even spotted the "mama goat".

I love the smile on G's face in this one.
It is almost like she is having a conversation with the goat :)

This is B's "mama goat".

{tired feet}

These little feet walked a long way today! We were at the zoo from10:30 to 3:30, and I don't remember him riding in the stroller once. He just kept walking. He did ask to be picked up a couple of times to see the animals but that was it. Twice his little feet even walked away without telling anyone where they were going (Once he was found inside a roped off construction site throwing rocks out of the ropes, and the other time he was just around the corner looking for the next monkey.), but we found them pretty quickly ;) Happy Birthday B!

GREAT pictures! I remember going to the houston zoo around this time of year and it was beautiful, such great weather.
