Potty Mouth

{I didn't see G in the background until I uploaded the picture :) }

B has been doing a GREAT job with his potty training! He only had 2 accidents yesterday and they were both #2 (which isn't all that great but it was only his second day so I will give him a break). He has said some funny stuff during this process and I wanted to document ...

1st day while wearing Woody underwear he had an accident. When I took them off and sat him on the potty he said, "oh no, goodbye woody."

1st day while talking to Aunt Weese on the phone. "when you get to be my age you can wear big boy underwear"

1st day after T got home he had another accident. T asked him which underwear he wanted to pick to wear next. B said, "I don't want to pick anymore. I just want my diaper back."

1st day while talking to Grandma, Aunt L, Aunt Weese, Nana and Papa (there were lots of phone calls made to announce the progress) B told each person that they could have some "swish" when they came to his house. Isn't it nice that he would share?

I love how his face lights up and he gets the biggest smile on his face when he goes!

B's treat of choice for this blessed event is "swish" (swedish fish). He gets 2 every time he goes. Sometimes he sneaks 3 but I let it go cause I am nice like that and I am SO PROUD!

Last. Diaper. Ever.

Tomorrow B's little bum will be sporting various
Disney characters and Superheros but no more diapers.

He seems excited.

I am a little anxious.

Wish us luck :)

G's 12/07 pages

Here are G's scrapbook pages for 12/00. YAY 2009 is finished! The top is the left and the bottom is the right of the layout. I may go back and add some journaling to the ho ho ho page ... i haven't decided yet. I know journaling is always good but I haven't really remembered anything specific. I know she was a little nervous to sit in Santa's lap but you can tell that by looking at the picture. Anyway, i am really please with how they turned out. I am super happy with the tree on the second page. It is "decorated" with ribbon and rhinstone brads. Sorry about the glare on the picture on the second page. Bad lighting and not the greatest camera but what can you do? I did turn the flash off but I must have had it right under the light :( Now to get started on 2008...

Video of E

E had 2 big firsts yesterday. She laughed for the first time and she was able to hold her neck up while we pulled her up from lying down. She is getting so big.

She kind of got the hiccups and her best laughs are towards the end.

What a happy baby! She "talks" to us all the time, but it was really hard to get her going and get it on camera. She does squeal in this one though which she also does often. She is such a happy baby!

Video of B "dancing"

He was playing with trucks at Nana and Papa's. One of the trucks plays music so he was dancing and working on the trucks. At the end of the video he says "That's easy. I'm going to work." I am not really sure what he is talking about there but he was pretending to work on the trucks so maybe that is what he was talking about.

Sleeping...

Here are some recent "sleeping" pictures of the G and B. I am sure it won't be long before E joins the club of funny sleeping positions.

I am not even sure how she could be sleeping like this :)

I love finding G sleeping with her babies. I think it is so cute. Almost every night we have to more her hair out of her face.

This is pretty much a daily occurrence for B. I usually read him a book at naptime and he always wants to look at it after I read it. He always falls asleep while reading. Sometimes the book ends up over his face and sometimes he is on top of the book.

Father and Son Camp out

This past weekend T and B went on their first Father and Son camp out. The girls stayed home and watched Princess and the Frog. A good time was had by all.

Eating Swedish fish.

Stomping ants. At one point a flying beetle came and landed under the pavilion. A couple big kids (9 or 10 yrs.) were just watching it and as soon as B saw it he ran in the middle of them and stomped it. Poor beetle :( The older boys just looked at B. B was so proud of himself.

Eating ice cream. There was a man sitting next to B who didn't have any ice cream and he commented on how he needed some. B got out of his chair and went over to the other guy who was serving the ice cream and told him that the first guy needed some. The one serving said Oh he does? and B said Yeah and turned around and went back to his seat.

T took B on a couple of "hikes".

Aren't they handsome?
Ready for bed.

B slept really well and was one of the last ones up the next morning.

Doesn't that look comfy?

More exploring. They found a couple of bridges.

Throwing rocks over the bridge. They didn't stay too long on the bridge. T was afraid B was going to fall through the side.

Finding the perfect rock.

Throwing it in the creek.
