Marathon Vacation - Part 4 - G's Birthday

Happy Birthday G!!!! We celebrated G's 3rd birthday while we were in Utah. We are so happy to have G. She is becoming quite the drama queen. She is a great big sister and loves to play with B (most of the time).

She was so proud to be 3!

She just stared and stared at her cake. She loved the princess castle and didn't want us to cut it!

A close up of the cake. I was pretty proud of how it turned out. It took almost a whole day and even then I couldn't have gotten it done without all the help I had!!

Presents, Presents, Presents!

A present from Aunt L. You can never go wrong with m&m's for G!

T and I got her Sleeping Beauty.

Aunt Wese got her a Sleeping Beauty barbie.

Another one from Aunt L. It is kind of a Where's Waldo book about Disney Princesses. This book was a lifesaver on the drive home.

The Ariel dress and new boots from Grandma and Grandpa. The best is when she wears them together :) She has worn this dress at least every other day since she has gotten it. I have to sneak it away to wash it.

She also got a few new outfits that I didn't get pictures of. We had the cake and part of the present opening the day before her birthday because Grandpa was going out of town. We went to the Zoo and out for ice cream on her actual birthday. The Zoo will be my next post!

Marathon Vacation - Part 3 - Swimming

For the first 2 weeks we were there, it rained. every. day. We were kinda feeling like we would never see the sun again. But it finally warmed up and we got out a little pool for the kids. They loved it! The first time we let them get in B was super excited and was jumping and splashing and laughing.

What could go better with the pool than popsicles? B was a little unsure of the coldness but was not giving it up for anything.

Marathon Vacation - Part 2 - "Working Hard"

These are just some misc. pictures of the kids. They "worked" hard and played hard while we were there. They were outside every chance they got. B came home with blond hair and a nice tan. G came home with a nice flip flop tan line.

Swinging with mom.

B thought he was so big in this swing. He loved it!! I also like G in the background of this picture. She loved the glider!

Working hard making us rolls for dinner.

B loved the 4-weeler rides he got. He would jump on any chance he could get.

G enjoyed the 4-wheeler rides as well but she would always tell whoever was driving to slow down :)

B working hard vacuuming :)

Sleeping on the job. B fell asleep several times riding the lawn mower!

Kisses for Grandpa.

Looking for birds with Aunt L.

He wants to be just like Daddy! I was pretty impressed that he got these boots on all by himself. He didn't do so great when he tried to walk in them.

Just relaxing after all the work!

Marathon Vacation - Part 1 - Tree House Museum

We were in Utah from June 7th through July 10th. We had so much fun!! I took over 250 pictures so it is going to take me a while to get this all updated. (Don't worry, I won't post them all, but I am going to post a bunch :)) For starters, we went to the Tree House Children's Museum in Ogden on June 12th.

G in Mexico! We were thinking about Uncle M while we visited Mexico :)

The flower that Aunt Wese helped G make in Mexico.

B hiding. He isn't a very quiet hider :)

Cooking some Chinese food. YUM!

B loved the fire truck. It was hard to get him off.

The cutest fireman!

It took us a while to convince B to sit on this horse but once he did, he did not want to get off!!

G's puppet show.

Playing some chess.
