a dancer, a monster, a chicken and a football

Somehow in the midst of boxes and general unorganization I managed to find G a Halloween shirt and some Halloween tights to wear to school.  I have to admit I was pretty proud of myself.  I even found a Halloween shirt for B to wear.  They were both pretty excited.

Halloween night was spent at the church Trunk or Treat.  We opted out of regular Tick or Treating in an attempt to get the kids back on their bedtime schedule and because we still had some things to unload out of the trailer we borrowed to move that needed to be returned for use the next morning.  The kids didn't even notice and they got plenty of candy.

When we thought we were going to be in Houston for Halloween we had decided to have a Batman and 3 Ballerinas.  After we got to Utah we realized our costumes needed to be changed accordingly.  Luckily we had a stash of costumes and were able to locate the box and find appropriate sizes.

E the runaway chicken.  She was having a hard time at first figuring out that there was an order to the trunks.  She did finally figure out how to get candy but then she seemed to get a little bored and reverted back to running away :)  Thank you Grandma for all the chasing of the chicken.

B seemed to be the hit of the night.  Someone at every trunk commented on how cute he was.  I have to say I agree!  Thanks to the P family back in Texas for the awesome costume :)

Isn't that the cutest monster tail you have ever seen?

 decisions, decisions, decisions

A picture of the costume. All 3 girls have worn this costume as a baby.  It is kind of sad to me that our only boy didn't get to wear it.  It was too small...  Thank you Grandma for making it - it has definitely been used.

A picture of the cute face :)

I have no idea what she was doing in this picture, but it was too funny to leave out.

 B just cracks me up.

G was starting to get a bit cold.

spooky snacks

I wish I could take credit for this cute Halloween treat but I saw it on facebook.
The kids loved it and it was super easy.

jack 'o lanterns

A big thank you to Aunt L for saving the day and picking up pumpkins for us!
G and E were pretty brave, B not so much :)

halloween parade

The Friday before Halloween G's Elementary School did a Halloween Parade.  The kids teacher and parents who were there to help all dressed up and walked around the track twice.  G had a great time!

M all ready for the walk down to the football field.  She slept the entire time.

E and all her cutness ready for the walk.

While we waited for the parade to start E explored and met all kinds of people.
She is definitely not shy.

B dancing to the Halloween music.

G's teacher is Mrs. Ferry.

There she is!  She found us :)

Once she got to the other side of the track she started skipping.

a new face

M finally got to meet Aunt Wese!

M's many faces

M still sleeps a lot but when she is awake she is usually smiling.
She will even giggle if you are lucky.  Tomorrow she will be 3 months old...

new school

G started her new school on 10/26.  Lucky for her it was right in the middle of Red Ribbon Week so her 1st day was Tie Day, her 2nd day was Hat Day and her 3rd day she got to wear her Halloween costume.  What a way to start a new school!
She was so excited to wear Grandpa's tie and Aunt Wese's hat.  She was also very excited about the Halloween Parade. (pictures to come)

slepping

Our 2nd night at Grandma and Grandpa's.
This is how we found G and B when we went to check on them before we went to bed.
