A Trend? I Hope So!

G and B have adjusted better than I thought to T going back to work yesterday. B has been waking up about 30 minutes before T leaves and has definitely been clingy in the mornings. He says "I come, I come" as T leaves but he is ok after the door is shut. G has been waking up in just enough time to get to say goodbye and she tells T "See you later. Have a good day!" After he leaves we have breakfast and the go upstairs. Both days now they have been playing so good together sharing toys and everything. This is a big improvement for them as one always seems to want something just because the other one has it. I really hope this is the beginning of a trend and that all of our mornings can be peaceful.

And Baby Makes 3

For those of you who haven't heard the news....we are expecting baby #3!! I am 15 weeks along which puts my due date January 28th. I did some calculations and discovered that G is 21 months and 13 days older than B. If this baby happens to be born on the due date (highly unlikely given both of the others were 2 weeks early), B will be 21 months 16 days older than the new baby. So all in all we couldn't have planned it better if we had tried. T has decided that this baby should be a surprise since we have one of each so we are going to wait until January to find out if if the baby is a boy or girl. Sorry for the low-quality sonogram picture but really it was the best I could do :)

15 months old

Now that I am caught up on vacation pictures I need to catch up on regular stuff. B had his 15-month Dr. visit on July 23rd. He weighed 25 lbs 4 oz (55th percentile). He was 32.5 in (88th percentile) tall. His head measured 49.5 cm (98th percentile). So once again he is long and lean with big brains. :)

In other B related news. He is really starting to talk a lot. He will pretty much say anything you ask him to and most of the time you can even understand him. He is also starting to put 2 words together. He will bring us a book and say "read it". Anytime anyone goes anywhere he will say "I come!" At dinner he will hand us his spoon and say "help me".

Marathon Vacation - Part 8 - Videos

Just some video of the kids having fun at Grandma and Grandpa's. They make me smile. Oh, and this should be the last of the vacation posts! Whoo-hoo! I finally got it all posted!! :)

Marathon Vacation - Part 7 - 4th of July

We spent the 4th of July at T's parents house. We had hamburgers and played outside. It was a great day. That night we did a little firework show in the driveway and then headed out to Henefer for a bigger firework show. G was a little concerned the fireworks were going to 'get' her. B loved them. It was pretty cold that night so were were all bundled up in the back of Grandpa's truck.

Like I said, G was a little nervous.

B was Grandpa's bud this trip.

Part of the time B was dancing in the back of the truck. I couldn't tell if he was just excited about the fireworks or if he was trying to stay warm. Cute smile!!

Marathon Vacation - Part 6 - G's Photo Shoot

Also for G's birthday we got her pictures taken at JC Penny. She was such a little ham.

Marathon Vacation - Part 5 - Hogle Zoo

On G's birthday we went to the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City. It was a really hot day and compared the the Houston Zoo it was definitely 'mountainous terrain'.

There are no camels at the Houston Zoo. G kept asking what was on their backs.

The carousel is always a must at the zoo. B cried when it was time to get off. It was nice to be in the shade.

Watching the elephants. Every time we go to the zoo now B is more and more interested in the animals. It was nice to actually get to stand and watch some of the animals instead of rushing from one to the next.

There was a really neat rhino exhibit. G is comparing her hand to a rhino hoof. There were some windows about at leg level with the rhinos and we had a really good view of them eating.
