Fall Festival

With Halloween being on Sunday this year the Fall Festival at our church was the extent of our Trick or Treating. We were okay with that :)

What a cute little football...

There were lots of games for the kids to play. Fishing was a favorite...

Shooting was another favorite...

Will they ever just look at the camera and smile normal?

G showing us her 'dance moves' as she calls them before trunk or treating.

B waiting so patiently to starting trunk or treating. He wanted that candy so badly...

They did so well this year waiting their turn and saying thank you!

tea time

G had a tea party today. Everyone was invited. Everyone ate and drank and had a grand time.

Then E came and crashed the party.

not how he went to bed...

Sometime after we put him to bed and before he went to sleep B decided to take his jammies off. Why? I have no idea. It sure was a trick getting them back on without waking him up. But we did it. Silly boy!

more carving

After we got home from our marathon trip to Nana and Papa's, we decided to have a little pumpkin carving of our own for FHE.

B was less than impressed with the insides...

He did get a little braver. G was super brave and stuck her hand right in.

She was so proud of herself.

E wasn't afraid at all. She would have played in it all night if we had let her.

This girl and her poses...

Big cheese...

Bigger cheese...this picture make me laugh :)

I think she was mostly just happy because she was getting to sit on the table.

I gave up on trying to get them all to look at the camera at the same time...

Our pumpkins. The kids loved them!

carving pumpkins

After family pictures and after the rain started, Uncle C, Uncle M, Papa and T when to the store to get some pumpkins to carve. They were there for about 5 minutes and the tornado sirens started going off. Everyone in the store had to go to the back of the store and wait. They waited for about 45 minutes before the were allowed to leave. When they finally got home with the pumpkins Uncle C carved one for the kids. They loved it.

Family Pictures

My good friend Britni Call (click her name to go to her photography blog) was kind enough to take family pictures for us Saturday evening after the Yamboree and after the Halloween party. It was quite a busy day! She got some great shots. Here are some of my favorites (in no particular order because I am too tired to arrange them in any certain way). As you can tell from the sky in most of the pictures it was about to storm. And about 2 minutes after we were done it came! We were under a tornado watch/warning for most of the rest of the night. Oh, and by the way, I think the ones of E by herself in the highchair is my very most favorite! Thanks again Britni!

Halloween Party

We went to the cutest Halloween party! There was tons of great spooky food, a hay ride to a pumpkin patch, lots of games, pumpkin painting and the kids each got the cutest homemade Frankenstein goody bag. The kids had so much fun. Thanks again Call, Jones and Bailey family for having us and for the wonderful time!

E the football. She was a little big for the football costume (that T's mom made for G's first Halloween) but she was still super cute!

G the BYU cheerleader and B the BYU football player. Waiting for the hay ride to start.

The pumpkin patch

Choosing the perfect pumpkin.

She found it!

He was so excited to get a pumpkin.

I tried and tried to get him to hold it lower but he had to have it right in from of his face.

They discovered this tractor and took a little detour from the party ;)
