mommy can't take much more of this...

Mom: "B!!!, WHAT ARE YOU DOING????"
B: "I'm just brushing my teeth!"

(seriously! the climbing to dangerous places needs to stop or at least slow down for a while...)

Let's give Mom a heart attack...

Me: "B!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING???"
B: "I just climbed in the baby bed to get her loves."

At least he had a good reason, I guess :) No harm done, thankfully!

E's Special Day

E's blessing day. She was so good at church (her first visit). She was especially good during the actual blessing. She did not make a peep and stared at T the whole time. She wasn't as agreeable when we got home to take pictures; however, but we can't expect everything to be perfect, can we? She was so beautiful in the dress that Nana made for her.

(oh, and if you are wondering why G is throwing up the peace sign in the family picture, well Grandma was trying to get everyone to look at the camera and smile by putting bunny ears up. G thought she would be "funny" and copy her. Wouldn't you know that that picture would end up being the one where everyone was looking at the camera and smiling. Grandma did her job :))

boys will be boys

This little boy loves to play with dad!

Movie Night with Aunt L

Aunt L came to visit from 2/17-2/22. G and B had so much fun! The Friday night that she was here we made caramel popcorn and watched Disney's Robin Hood. B LOVED the popcorn and had about 5 bowls. G wouldn't even try it.

matchy-matchy

Matching shirts from Aunt L. Aren't they cute?? I can't wait to find them more matching outfits. I love how G always has to give E kisses when we take pictures :)

Silly B

B is eating a spoonful of cookie dough. He was told to sit at the table or stay in the kitchen. This is where he chose to eat his cookie dough. :) He makes us smile!
I guess it was more important for Monkey to have the pillow :) Just a little side note: Whenever B wants covers he always makes sure Monkey has covers too.

Valentine's Day

I got the idea to use the kid's thumbprints as hearts from a magazine and decided to make T a card with them. I am pretty pleased without it turned out. The picture is a little blurry for some reason and the colors are a bit muted. It definitely looks better in real life but you get the idea. The whole process of getting the thumbprints was a little more difficult that I expected. G and B really do not appreciate getting their hands dirty and this was no exception. They did enjoy giving the card to Dad though :) (G's thumbprint is pink. B's thumbprint is red. E's thumbprint is purple.)

The inside of the card really is the best. I first asked the kids (separately) if they loved Daddy. They both said yes, of course, and then I asked them why. I wrote what they said on the inside.

I Love Daddy...

"because he is my best boy friend." - G
"because I want to." - B
"because he helps me burp." - E

(E obviously had a little help with her answer, but since she really does burp the best for him, I thought it was appropriate.)

Feet and Sweet E

I love baby feet! I got the idea for this picture in my head a few days after we got home from the hospital and in my head it was much more perfect that it actually turned out. For some reason I had it in my head that all 3 kids would just lay there with their feet just how I wanted them ... what was I thinking?? It turned out ok but I think I will have a re-shoot of this pose in the future ... maybe not so close to bedtime :)

Sweetness!!

This was E's first time in the baby tub. Her umbilical cord fell off on the 01-31. She does not like getting wet :) She does calm down a little when her hair is being washed but other than that she pretty much cries the entire time. I love how her wash cloth is as big as her. Such a modest baby ;)

She does love to be swaddled.
