G's April 09 pages
I finished these before we went to Waco but just got around to posting them. The top is the left and the bottom is the right. There are lots of names covered up in the journaling but if you want to read it you just have to click on the picture to make it bigger. The second page has some of my favorite pictures of G and Grandma R.

G's 03/09 pages
Yay for scrapbooking! I am on a roll this week :) These are 2 of G's March 2009 pages. The top in the left side and the bottom is the right side of the layout. The white pieces are to cover names and faces of those wishing to remain anonymous :)
I think I have one more month of pictures for G and then I need to get some more printed so I can keep going.

pages for E
This is the cover page for E's scrapbook. I think it is my new most favorite page ever :) All are pictres from the hospital except the one of all 3 kids. Her first and middle names are spelled in chipboard on the right side. The pink bow is from the hospital.
This is E's January 2010 page. She is wearing the bow from the cover page in that 2nd picture. The card is from the hospital as well. Her first name is stamped on the left.
Hopefully I will be able to find more time soon to work on her book some more. Oh, and they look way better without the purple pieces covering her name :)

G's 08/08 pages
B's 12/08 page
G's 03/08 pages
top=left, bottom=right
color scheme: pale plum, barely banana, tempting turquoise
I was so happy to find a piece of paper that I had written a bunch of stuff down about G back in March of 2008. I was even happier that I found it when I was doing her pages and not after. The right side of the bottom picture is all journaling about what grace could say and things that she did that month. Too much to type but if you are interested in reading, might be able to click on the picture to make it bigger and read it that way. If not, you will just have to come visit and read it in person :)

G's 12/07 pages
Here are G's scrapbook pages for 12/00. YAY 2009 is finished! The top is the left and the bottom is the right of the layout. I may go back and add some journaling to the ho ho ho page ... i haven't decided yet. I know journaling is always good but I haven't really remembered anything specific. I know she was a little nervous to sit in Santa's lap but you can tell that by looking at the picture. Anyway, i am really please with how they turned out. I am super happy with the tree on the second page. It is "decorated" with ribbon and rhinstone brads. Sorry about the glare on the picture on the second page. Bad lighting and not the greatest camera but what can you do? I did turn the flash off but I must have had it right under the light :( Now to get started on 2008...

G's 11/07
This month was definitely a challenge for me. When I went back and looked for pictures there were these 4 plus one more of G hugging her friend where all you could see was G's back. That was it! A whole month and I only had 5 pictures to choose from. I am pretty happy with how they turned out but I really like having more than 4 pictures to work with :)
The while piece covers up her name. If you are interested in the journaling of any of the pages, I am pretty sure you can just click the picture and it will be big enough to read.
G's 10/07 pages
It has been WAY too long since I have scrapbooked! I was able to find some time this weekend and hope to get caught up by the end of the summer. I have a long way to go but I am not too overwhelmed yet :) I have 3 double page layouts for her for 10/07. October is always a busy month for us so we always have lots of pictures. And really, which ones would you choose to leave out? :) The top picture of each layout is the left side.

Once again, her name is covered up for the blog in the top right corner.
I did a lot more journaling than I thought I was going to be able to since the pictures are 2.5 years old. It is so fun to go back and look at how little G was. It always amazes me how much she has grown and changed when I look at old pictures.

G's 10/08 pages

Here are more of G's October 2008 scrapbook pages. This one took me a little while to figure out with the sizing, placement and for some reason the colors were just not coming together. I have to say, though, I am very happy with how it turned out. I think this layout might be my favorite so far. I don't know if it is because I have been working mostly on B's scrapbook or what but this one seems extra girly (which G can definitely be sometimes!). I journaled all about our many Halloween activities on the first page and left the second a little less busy. There are butterflies stamped in purple on the green paper (and if you look closely you can see that it matches the butterflies on her tinkerbell dress), hearts stamped in purple on the purple paper and flowers stamped in pink on the pink paper. The butterflies on the second page are on dimensionals.
color scheme: almost amethyst, lovely lilac, gable green and regal rose
stamp sets: Sprinkles, Sweet Shapes and Tall Tales alphabet

B's 10/08 page
Here is B's October 2008 page. You can't really see in the picture but I did some paper peircing around the circle that is behind the middle row of pictures. Also, there is some stamping on the orangeish paper. I spelled out his whole name and cut out each letter in a different color/style. I am really happy with how this one turned out. And once again I was able to use my new circle cutter :) The colors look a little washed out in this picture...sorry!color scheme: really rust, so saffron, bashful blue, sahara sand, whisper white and certainly celery.
stamp sets: Big Deal Alphabet and Rough Texture (wheel).

B's 11/08 page

Here is B's November 2008 page. His first and middle names are covered up but you get the idea. I am still loving my new circle cutter :) Those pumpkin stems took way longer than they should have and I am still not sure I am loving them.
color scheme: bashful blue, pumpkin pie, chocolate chip and old olive.
stamp sets: Well Worn Alphabet

G's 10/08 pages

Here are G's October 2008 scrapbook pages. Well, I should probably say 1 set of her October pages. This layout is from when we went to the Oil Ranch. I still need to do the Halloween and Yamboree layouts. We just have too much fun in October to limit it to 1 layout for the month :) I got to use my new circle cutter and it was lots of fun!!color scheme: chocolate chip, regal rose, pumpkin pie and old olive.
stamp sets: Crazy Alphabet

B's 6/08 page

Here is B's June 2008 scrapbook page. There were just too many cute pictures from June to just choose a few. I am pretty proud of myself for being able to get all 8 on there :) It was a little tricky getting the photos cropped just right. It was kind of like doing a puzzle. There are some spots on behind the picture in the bottom right. It says "blessings" to the left of that same picture and B's name is in the bottom right corner.
color scheme: brocade blue, bashful blue, going gray and whisper white.
stamp sets: ABC alphabet lower, Graceful Words and Spot On (wheel).

G's 6/08 pages

Here are G's June 2008 scrapbook pages. Again, the top is the left side and the bottom is the right side. I definitely like the left side better but I think they look good together. Under the picture of G blowing out her candles it says "celebrate" and to the right of G helping mow the yard it says "a small thing done in great love is a great thing." Both of those sayings as well as the flower border on the left side of the left page and the flowers etc. around the left picture on the right page are all rub-ons. I was going for more of a simplistic approach for these pages which I think I accomplished on the left side. One more page to go for the week.
color scheme: sahara sand, going gray, whisper white and regal rose.

G's 5/08 pages

Yay! I finished my 4 pages for this week. I have many more weeks to go to get caught up but it is definitely a start!! This is G's double-page layout for May 2008. The top picture is the right side and the bottom is the left side. The right side is pictures from when we went to the Zoo and the Oil Ranch. The left side is G making rolls with Bama. There was really bad lighting when I took the pictures so they look a lot brighter than they really are. They are definitely more subtle in real life :)
color scheme: so saffron, certainly celery, groovy guava, close to cocoa, almost amethyst, whisper white and river rock.
stamp sets: ABC alphabet upper, ABC alphabet lower and little pieces.
