Tea Party

G's friend, S, turned 4 at the beginning of April and she had a Tea Party! It was so much fun. The girls were asked to come in their best dress up. G chose to wear her Cinderella dress and shoes and her crown. All the little girls were so cute all dressed up. I think there were 13 little girls there.

They started out the party by making name cards for their place setting at the table. G asked me how to spell her name and found each letter. She also got to choose from a whole bunch of stickers to decorate her card. She was pretty proud of it. (The blue x's were added for blogging purposes.)

After they got finished making their name cards they each got a little bag of jewelry pieces to make their own necklaces, rings and bracelets. Here G is showing off the ring she made.

Look at all those cute cute princesses getting ready for tea. There was tea (lemonade), sugar (nerds), mini marshmallows, mini pumpkin muffins, strawberries, grapes and nuts.

Sometimes deciding what to eat first is the hardest part :)

Pouring her tea ever so carefully.

After tea, they listened to the story of the Princess and the Pea. They then got to see if they were a real princess by sitting on a pillow to see if they could feel the pea (marble).
They also got to decorate their own cupcake. It was a really great party. G had lots of fun!

Our other little princess also came dressed up but she slept most of the time :)

B one of the only princes at the party (there was one other little boy) decided he had enough of all the girls and just laid in the middle of the floor.

He also found this bench which, as it turns out, is a perfect place to read a book. What a funny kid!
