Sprinklers

We turned the sprinklers on for the kids to play in this afternoon. B was not all that impressed. G kept trying to lead him back over to the water, but as soon as he got a few drops on him he would just run away. He was much happier to sit and watch. G had lots of fun though. She was in and out running and screaming and laughing.

Once after G lead B into the water he turned around and wanted her to pick him up. It was pretty cute. He soon realized she couldn't do it so he came to me with his arms up.

B's New 'Do

B got a real haircut this afternoon with clippers and everything! He wasn't too sure what was going on but he did not make a peep the entire time. Even the stylist was in awe of his behavior. He is such a handsome little fella now :)

Nap Time?

I guess all that climbing makes B really tired. He just laid down and went to sleep. There was even snoring and drooling :) He didn't even wake up when I moved him to his bed!

Seriously???

What are we going to do with this kid?

I went to get G out of the bathtub, and while I was gone B decided to hide? climb? play a trick on Mom? As you look at the picture take note that there is nothing in front of those shelves for B to stand on. T and I are starting to take bets on when his 1st broken bone will be. Right now we are agreed on before Kindergarten. But, if he keeps pulling stunts like this it could be sooner.

Sleeping and Swimming?

These are the pajamas G had on when she went to bed.

This is how we found her when we went to check on her before we went to bed. It was a little curious that she had the sheet pulled all the way up to her chin, so we pulled it back and found...

This. Yep, she changed into her swimming suit. She had asked us if she could have her swimming suit in bed with her. We told her she couldn't sleep with it in her bed but that she could have it on the floor by her bed. (This usually works for everything that she she wants to sleep with but that we don't think she should i.e. shoes and necklaces etc.) I guess she out smarted us last night :) When she woke up this morning I discovered it was on backwards. She still has it on...sometimes I have to pick my battles :)

Big Boy Bed

After B recently escaped (climbed/fell) out of his crib. We decided it was time for a different sleeping arrangement. We started him out just on his crib mattress on the floor, but he fell off and woke up just about every night. We then put him on a twin mattress/box springs on the floor. He stays in a little better because it is bigger with more room to move around while sleeping. We have, however found him in various corners of the room when we check on him at night and in the morning. We have also found him almost off the bed but still somehow asleep. This morning he was found in the bean bag snoozing away.

Just Cute Kids

I was working yesterday and the kids were being pretty quiet so I went to check on them. This is what I found.

G was sitting on my bed watching Toy Story. I had turned the movie on for her but that doesn't always mean she is watching it :)

B was in his room making very important phone calls. I tried to take the picture before he noticed me but as soon as he saw the camera he cheesed at me. It's ok, I'll take it.

It is nice every once in a while to find quiet kids who are being good :)
