Sleeping
It has been a while since I have done one of the sleeping posts and for some reason September was a good month for crazy sleepers.

@ the park
We took the kids to the park yesterday. They, of course, had a great time. There was much climbing, swinging and sliding. Oh, and running and playing in the dirt. There were also some firsts for little E.
more on sleeping
I was thinking as I was posting my last sleeping post that G was getting bigger and she probably wouldn't be in any more of the posts where I show silly sleeping positions. I was wrong.
I am always amazed when she gives her toys/books/babies her pillow and covers them up but giving them almost the whole bed? Silly G! 9/7
I first saw her arm/hand and mouth and thought it was pretty funny but then after I took the picture I noticed her legs. Do you see how her knees are up? 9/10
B and Sam the bear. I am pretty sure B was reading the book to Sam. I am not sure how Sam came to be on top of his head. 9/10
Later that same night after I moved Sam and the book and covered B up. Later we went to check on him again and this is what we found. Did he maybe fall asleep while trying to get out of bed? 9/10I love that his hand is still in the bowl and that his ankles are crossed.

a visit and a surprise
Aunt L came to visit on 8-31 and stayed until 9-4. It was great! The kids loved having her here. They sang songs, rode bikes, danced around, made cookies, played duplos and had numerous tea parties. Thank you Aunt L for all the babysitting we tricked you into :) After we took Aunt L to the airport we drove to Gilmer for the rest of the long weekend. It was kind of a quick trip but the kids had fun riding around in the back of Papa's truck helping T scope out a good hunting spot.

Can you believe this cute little baby could be fussy? Well, she was for most of the time Aunt L was here. We couldn't really figure out what was going on until Sunday (9/5) when we discovered 2 teeth at church. She got both her bottom teeth at the same time. Shortly after the discovery her nose started running and she started feeling a little warm. It would have been nice if she had those symptoms before we discovered the teeth. We would have been happy to give her some Tylenol to help with the discomfort and it probably would have let us all get some sleep. Maybe she will learn from her mistakes and show some more signs before her next teeth come in...probably not though :)

This is one of my favorite pictures. I love seeing the kids' relationships with each other. (I stole all these pictures from L's blog! Thanks L for taking such great pictures!!)
