Lots of Firsts for E

We took E to Gilmer for the first time last week for Spring Break.

She got to meet lots of new people.

E and Cousin B. (3/13) I love the smiles on the big kids' faces when they hold her.

E and her Great Great Aunt E. (3/16) Just in case you are wondering, yes, they do have the same name :)

E and Great Grandma R. (3/16)

E's 1st tu-tu. (3/13) I think she should wear it everyday. What do you think?

E's 1st nap with Papa. (3/17)

E's 1st 3-wheeler ride. (3/17) It wasn't a very long ride, a couple feet at the most, but it still counts. I am sure there will be many more when she is older. :)

Some of E's 1st smiles.

There must be something about that shirt. We can only get her to smile when she wears it. It must have something to do with the fact that Aunt L bought it for her!
I promise it gets washed :)

A Funny Conversation

B:"Mom, G fell out of the dump truck."

Me: "She didn't fall out. You dumped her out. That wasn't very nice."

B:"I know. I'm sorry G."

G:"It's o.k. I'm still alive."

Miss Wonderful

Just a little photo shoot with miss E. She is starting to outgrow some of her newborn size clothes. She is also starting to smile and coo more. Sorry her hands and feet are so blurry - she wouldn't hold still :)

Stake Picnic

Our Stake had a picnic at a local campground on Saturday. It was such a beautiful day so we decided to go. We really had a good time. The kids got to run around and play. Hopefully we will be able to enjoy more of this kind of weather before the HOT comes!!

Eating popcorn waiting in line for lunch.

Just a close-up of B.
G with her popcorn in line. She was a little bored I think :)

Still waiting in line for food. The line was really long but the kids did good.
And I guess this is where I somehow got a smudge on the lens of the camera. That fuzzy spot is visible in the rest of the pictures. Sorry!

B putting a leaf down the drain. It took him a few minutes to get it to go but he was persistent.

E was a good sport. She slept in the stroller almost the whole time :)

Playing in the dirt building "castles".

G's "castle" is in between her and B. What? You can't see anything? Yeah, I couldn't really see it either and I was there!

Walking back to the car. What a fun day!

Fun with Boxes

I really like G's smile in this picture. And B, well that is just his typical smile-for-the-camera face - poor kid :)

I promise we were not torturing B :) He was just laughing, yes, laughing. The poor kid can't catch a break in pictures these days.

These 2 have been playing really well together lately, which is nice considering all the time I have to spend feeding E. There have been many tea parties, books read and lots of pretend play. G even "drives" B places in her box.

I think we need a lock...

I have known for a while now that B could open the fridge, but this was the first time he opened it and actually got something out when no one was in there with him. I am just happy he didn't spill that almost-full gallon of milk!

"Mom! I falled in the bathtub!"

Yes, G, you did fall in the bathtub!
G had already had her bath and it was B's turn. E started crying so I went to give her her binki. Two seconds later this is what I find. When I asked her what happened she said she was just trying to sit on the stool to watch B. Crazy kids!!
