a visit with uncle m

Uncle M is working in Oklahoma this summer. He wanted to see the kids and we wanted to see him before he goes back to BYU for school. Since we were in Gilmer we met in Paris at Papa D and Nana P's cabin on July 3rd and spent the day with him. Nana, Papa, Uncle C, Aunt C and cousins C and B were there also as well as some family friends and Papa D's daughter and her kids.

It took E a little while but she warmed up to Uncle M.


E made a friend.

They sat on the step and "talked" to each other for the longest time.

B was sitting on Papa's lap and asked if Papa would take him on a tractor ride. Papa told him that the tractor was not his and that it was Papa D's. B said where is Papa D.? Papa pointed him out and B jumped off Papa's lap and marched right over and asked Papa D if he would take him for a tractor ride. It was really cute. I guess B is just a take-charge kind of kid :)

The girls love their Uncle M :)

E would have no help with the water bottles.
