On July 4th we celebrated with some yummy food at a friend's house which happens to be by a lake. (Yes, the kids have the same shirts on as the day before in Paris but I promise they were washed.) The kids had fun exploring. Mom and Dad had fun sitting in the shade talking. It was a good day. There was a burn ban and a firework ban so no firework show this year but the kids are still scared of them so it was ok with us :)
The last 4 pictures were taken by a friend who wasn't too lazy (like mom) to leave the shade and follow the kids around. Thanks, T!
