B and E

B is also adjusting very well to E. He loves to hold her and always tells us how cute she is. He is always my big helper when I need him to bring me diapers, wipes etc.

G and B didn't get to come see E at the hospital because of it being flu season so these pictures are the first time they got to see her. This what right after we got home from the hospital. I love the look on his face!!

He always puts his hands up like this when he wants to hold her. When she is eating and he wants to hold her he always says "I can hold her when hers done." He is so patient with her.

Again with the smiles. It is so fun to see B interact with E. He always smiles and giggles a little when he gets to hold her.

Sweet big brother!!

G and E

G is adjusting to E pretty well. For the most part she is my big helper. She loves to hold E and wants to look at her all the time. She always comments how "teeny tiny" everything about E is. She loves to give her kisses and hugs.

These first 2 were taken the day we got home from the hospital. G was SO excited to meet "the new baby"! We have had a hard time getting G to call her E. She almost always refers to her as the new baby.

Kisses for E. What a good big sister :)

I love the smile on G's face and I love that E is looking right at her.

G wants so badly for E to notice toys. She tried so hard to help her with toys when she is crying.

Introducing E

Our new addition, E, was born on January 23rd at 1:01 am. She weighed 7 lbs 14 oz and was 19 3/4 in long.

She is almost 2 hours old in this picture.

Her eyes are blue for now. We will see if they stay. (Mom has her fingers crossed.)

Our last night in the hospital the nurse put this cute bow in her hair. Isn't she beautiful??

All 3! G and B want to hold her all the time! They always make comments about how tiny she is. They love to give her kisses and hugs. It really amazes me how sweet and gentle they are with her.

B was anticipating the flash in this one. I couldn't resist :)

Christmas Morning

B was a candy thief Christmas morning. I am sure that he has a piece of candy in his mouth in every picture :)

Loading his "pick up dirt" with candy.

Opening his cars from G. (Ignore the big belly to the left.)

"Pick up dirt" from Grandma and Grandpa.

Boots from Mom and Dad.

Monkey and Bunny slippers from Santa. These were a big hit! G:"Just what I always wanted!"

Hair bows from Grandma & Grandpa. There was one point during the day where she had all 4 in her hair at once.
Bell dress up from Grandma and Grandpa.

Cinderella dress up from Grandma and Grandpa and Duplos from Santa.

Her tall tower. She was so proud. I am loving the slippers :)

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve at our own house for the first time this year. I was 35 weeks pregnant and didn't want to travel. It was so nice. We made cookies for Santa, had a nice dinner and even used our china (for the 2nd time, I think), had a short family home evening about Jesus' birth, drove around looking at Christmas lights and then the kids were in bed by 8. It was just a relaxing day with our family!

Christmas before Christmas

Nana, Papa, Uncle C, Cousin B, C and little C came down the weekend before Christmas to celebrate with us. We had a great time looking at Christmas lights, opening presents, eating and playing games.

B and his new dump truck. He LOVES it!

G opening her new ballerina dress-up! You can tell by the expression on her face that she LOVES it!

SNOW!!!

Yes. That is SNOW. In HOUSTON! It was amazing. It snowed almost all day. And the kids stood in this position almost all day :) They were so excited!! I wasn't feeling well so I was a terrible mom and didn't take them out to play. The did get to go out for a few minutes when T got home and threw a couple "snowballs" at him but they didn't last long. It sure was beautiful to look at out the window though.
