what a cutie!
There were peacocks just roaming around loose. We saw at least 4 different males and 1 female. I just wish they would have spread their feathers for us. Hopefully one of these times they will.
Turkey. I love how it just posed for me :)
The whole crew...too bad M couldn't see anything :)
E and the big elephant.
It made lots of noise and G was the only one brave enough to get this close.
The baby elephant. He was the only one out roaming while we were there.
On the rhino. Too bad the rhinos weren't out while were were there.
We did discover that there is even one named Princess. G was super excited.
E on the carousel. She got to ride a Buffalo or "fufalo" as she says.
Seems like these are the same picture but be sure to look at the background :)
When the carousel stopped Dad told E is was time to get off
and she clamped her hands on the pole and said "wanna go again".
She was super sad it was over.
Closeup of Mr. Peacock.
Giant turtles ...
...that are apparently in love and like to sleep all snugly :)
At the Tiger exhibit. This zoo has a way bigger Tiger exhibit than Houston with 3 tigers that we saw. They were all sleeping but they were HUGE!
Giraffes.
We could go in their barn and even upstairs to view them at eye level.
But we weren't able to feed them.
Camels. Definitely interesting animals.
Bald eagles.
These 2 were injured in the wild and both had to have a wing amputated.
Sad story but beautiful birds.
G showing E the way.
The gorilla statue. E was too afraid to sit in his lap :)
