E @ 16 months

I know I already posted about E and sleeping with her baby but this was the only picture I have of E on 5/23 exactly the day she is 16 months old.

She seems to be growing up so fast and quickly turning into a little person.

She seems to have a new word each day. Most of them are very clear. She can say: mommy, daddy, puppy, baby, eat, bye, hi, uh-oh, pee-eww, book, papa, please, thank you and up. I am sure there are more that I can't think of right now. If you ask her to say a word she will usually try it at least once.

She is a great dancer. Anytime there is music and sometimes even when there isn't she will dance. She mostly bounces her knees but she will get her head going from side to side and her hips moving back and forth. It is hilarious! She also likes to blow kisses. She also has to give her babies kisses all the time too.

She also has a seperate sound for G and B, gee and b. She loves to follow them around and play where they are playing.

She loves to give kisses and even does it with her mouth closed. She has to give everyone a kiss goodnight when we tell her it is time for bed. She tells you she wants a kiss by putting her lips together, tilting her head back and making a "mmm-mmm" sound. It is super cute!

She also has a very high pitched squeal that she uses when she doesn't have a word to use and she wants something. Not so cute but very effective as we can't stand it so she usually gets what she wants :)

She can point to her nose, eyes, hair and ears. Sometimes she gets her toes and fingers and belly button.

She takes one at least 2-hour nap a day at 11 and sometimes sleeps through lunch if I am late getting her down. She goes to bed at 7 and gets up between 7:00 and 7:30.

She is great at putting toys back in their box and will always help if we are cleaning up today. She also like to pull books off the shelf so we have to clean those last unless we want to do them more than once.

She is really good at going up the stairs and just recently starting learning to turn around and go down all by herself.

She loves to climb on things and if she can't get up by herself she will move something like a box or wipes or a little chair or a toy and she has even turned a laundry basket over to help get herself on things like beds and couches.

She does really well eating with a fork and is getting better about eating fruits and vegetables and just recently ate cantelope for the first time. She didn't throw a fit about it and even wanted more. She has also tried watermelon recently and loved it too. She will eat strawberries also. She likes to eat corn on the cob. She loves yogurt, eggs, bread, peanutbutter, most pasta and potatoes. She will drink anything you give her.
