This past weekend T took off work on Friday and we drove up to Gilmer so he could go hunting. It was a great trip. For me, Friday was the best. We had so much fun with the kids outside. The weather was great
(Actually it was a little warm for November but we didn't mind too much.) and everyone was in a good mood.

On Friday Papa took off work for most of the day and after T got back from hunting we all went outside to play. It started as Papa taking the kids for a ride on the Rhino and ended up with T riding the 3-wheeler and me on the 4-wheeler. We each had a kid and they had a blast. They kept "racing" and "catching" each other. They also kept switching who they wanted to ride with. It really was a perfect day to be outside.

B found a "pick up dirt" to play with and he was in heaven. He was scooping leaves and rocks and generally just getting dirty. There was a little mud puddle in the sink after I washed his hands when we were done outside.

He thinks he is big enough to drive :)

Just exploring. He had so much fun running around just being a boy.

Chasing the chicken. Always a must-do at Nana and Papa's.

I don't think it came out again until the kids were gone. Poor chicken. I guess they give it exercise :)

B finally got up the courage to chase the chicken by himself. In the past he has been terrified of the chicken, running and screaming whenever it would look in his direction. We were so happy he finally got over that.

G has been wanting to climb a tree since the summer. This weekend was the weekend. She finally discovered this dogwood tree and decided on her own that it was the tree for her. She did it all by herself without even telling us. We just happened to notice and have the camera.

Cousin B getting in on the action.

Higher and higher.

She was so proud of herself, and I have to say I was pretty proud of her too. She didn't even need help getting down.

Cousin B wanted his picture taken in the tree too.
