Trunk or Treat

Our little Vampire. He really like to run and have his cape fly behind him.

Our little Witch. Sometimes she would say she was a scary witch and sometimes she would say she was a pretty witch.

Waiting to leave.

Going with Dad to get the mail.

Ring Around The Rosies. Doesn't everyone play this game at Halloween parties?

"And we all fall down."

Taking it all in :) As we were walking around to the cars to get the candy G noticed that someone had put M&Ms in her bucket. A couple cars later someone else was going to give her M&Ms but she said she already had some and didn't want anymore. I tried to tell her that it was okay to get more but she almost started crying saying she already had some and didn't want more. She obviously wasn't thinking that maybe Mom would eat them :)

G and friend A. They were pretty cute together :)

Sleeping?

We often find the kids in crazy sleeping positions but not usually on the same night.. It really amazes me how my kids can sleep anywhere.

FHE

On the 10/19 we ate popcorn and watched It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown for FHE. It was a hit. B was a little more interested in the popcorn than the movie but it was a fun night :)

Wonder Pets

Both kids sitting still. At the same time. I {heart} Wonder Pets!

Yam Fun!

This past weekend we went to Gilmer for the Yamboree. We got there around 7 Thursday night and came home Sunday night.

THURSDAY

B eating his corn dog!

G and C "dancing".

G eating her corn dog in between dance steps.

G loved the carousel.

B had a good time also but it was really hard to get a good picture of him. This carousel is really fast :)

G getting ready for her boat ride. B was a little too small for this one.

Walking to the car.

FRIDAY

G and Cousin B waiting for the parade to start. We had to sit and wait for about 45 minutes. They were so good!

B woke up late, so he had breakfast while we were waiting for the parade to start.

Watching the band. He loved the parade. He would get so excited for the school mascots and would wave at the "princesses". His favorite was at the very end when Smoky the Bear went by with some kind of tractor/bulldozer. B kept yelling "pick up dirt, pick up dirt!"

On our way to lunch. Cute cousins holding hands!

Silly faces.

Waiting on the Flinstone ride. G didn't quite get the concept of waiting in line for the rides. She would just want to go straight to the next without waiting.

Big smiles.

Funny face from mom, but B was so excited. You can kind of tell he is trying to wave at T, and I think he is saying "Hi!"

This car ride was B's first ride to ride by himself. He was about 3 inches too short, but I was sure he could do it so I put him on and tightened the buckle and crossed my fingers that the person in charge wouldn't measure. He did so good. He didn't try to get out and he didn't cry! He loved it!

Hugs for dad!

B loved these boats. They went around and up and down. He had this grin on his face pretty much the entire ride. Poor Cousin B wasn't all that impressed :)

Lots of smiles.

Can you tell how much fun they were having?

Raising his hands like he is on a roller coaster. It kinda looks like he is trying to get out, but he wasn't. He was having so much fun!

So tired from too much fun!!

SATURDAY

Waiting for the 2nd parade. It was longer and B got a little restless but they still had a good time.

We also went to see the cows, rabbits and goats at the livestock barn. B loved looking at the rabbits the best. He was a little nervous about the goats and cows, especially when the cows mooed. G really liked the rabbits also.

18 months

B had his 18-month check up today. 18 months really? It is a little crazy to think how fast he is growing up. He weighs 25 pounds 11 ounces (50%). He is 33 inches long (70%). His head measures 50 cm (95%). He is following his curve nicely, still long and lean with big brains! The dr. also said his length to weight ration is perfect; he isn't over or underweight so that is good. He only had to get 2 shots today but he was not happy about it at all. He did enjoy his M&Ms on the way home though. This kid does love candy :) Halloween should be great :)

No pictures today but we are going to my parent's this weekend so I am sure I will get some then.

Amazing Movie Deal

Ok so I discovered this amazing movie deal and thought I would share. Disney just released Snow White Blu-ray/DVD yesterday (Oct. 6th).

It is regularly priced at $29.99 at Toys R Us.

It is on sale through October 10th for $19.99.

There is a printable coupon HERE for $10 off. You can use this coupon at any store that accepts printable coupons if you don't want to go to Toys R Us, but keep reading and you will want to go to Toys R Us :)

PLUS Toys R Us is giving a $5 Gift Card with purchase of the movie.
So, if you stop the deal there you will end up paying $10 and you will get a $5 Gift Card. (Gift Card no longer available with purchase of movie. There was an error in the system and it was only there for the 6th. Sorry.)

BUT if you want to sweeten the deal a little, Toys R Us also has a promotion (good through the 10th) where if you buy any Disney Princess product ($15 from the movie counts towards this) you get a Snow White baking set valued at $12.99 for FREE.

I printed 2 of the $10 coupons, bought 2 movies and got the baking set FREE plus a $10 Gift Card.

Ok, if you are still reading there is MORE! There is also a $5 mail-in rebate for this movie. You can print the form HERE.

WOW! If you do the rebate, you could end up with a Snow White movie for $5 out of pocket and a $5 Toys R Us Gift Card. But even if you don't do the rebate, it is still a really good deal.

Needless to say SANTA will be bringing G a Snow White movie and baking set. She is going to LOVE it!
